Who Needs and IPod? I Have a PSP: Play Music and Movies on Your PSP

Fernando Filipe

How to Make Your PSP into a Great Media DeviceWhen people buy a PSP, they aren't planning on it doing anything more than playing great hand held games. They are underestimating what this device is capable of though, it's quite amazing when you get used to it. The Playstation Portable is not only
?a gaming device but is also a music and video player, a photo viewer, and even a web browser. You can also remotely access you PS3 over the Internet or directly giving you access to all your media there as well as your PS3 friends to communicate with, and the PS3's more advanced Internet browser. The problem is getting media on a PSP is not as seamless as say syncing an iPod. The basic way is to manually drag and drop your media files onto the PSP's memory stick as you would when you plug in a USB flash drive. Luckily there is a universal application (for both PC and Mac) called PSPWare that let's you easily sync your media in a simple, beautiful interface. This application is shareware but only costs $10 bucks, and is well worth the money if you are looking to switch from your iPod to using your PSP as a central media device.Who Needs and IPod?
