The growth of the internet has led to a massive amount of information being made available every day to humans - but what about dogs? If you stop and think about it for just one moment, you will see that us dogs are not properly represented on the web. As an enterprising Jack Russell with a nose for justice, I began my Dog Blog to ensure that animals get a proper voice on the internet.

I have had a lot of encouragement from all my dog-friends so far. We all feel we need a way to get our voices heard and our opinions listened to. If you are a dog reading this, I bet you don't get your opinions heard. For example, does your owner know where you stand on the dog-biscuit controversy? I bet they don't! If you like biscuits - have they asked which ones you prefer? No - I thought not.

In any case, who said that dogs ought to be eating flippin dog-biscuits anyway? We are naturally omniverous which means we eat anything, but that does not mean people should take advantage of our good nature. Let's face it, we all prefer meat. Humans take notice - dogs like meat. See - that's why we need a voice on the internet.

Dog rights is an important subject and I believe the time is right for us to unite and make our views known. We want proper walks, lots of doggie-treats, more tid-bits and plenty of dog-meat even if it is made from old horses. Thats what I call dog rights.
